ABOUT US
Our names are Chloe Staines and Eloise McIntosh, we are twenty years old studying our third-year of Commerce at Queen’s University, although, above all else, we are fighters! At only twenty years old, we have endured countless battles – some big, some small; some easy, some hard. We understand how it is to feel alone in these battles, so we have set out on a mission to change that. As a result, we have launched Fight Club, where no one has to feel alone in their enduring, persistent, and sometimes debilitating struggles; we are here for you. Never forget, you are stronger than you think!

CHLOE
By definition, I have always appeared strong; from the outside, I have always been able to withstand adversity with limited emotional turmoil. Although, much to everybody's surprise, I have struggled with my emotions since I was little. I find it very difficult to express my feelings and be vulnerable. Ultimately, this is something that has impacted all of my relationships - especially with my family and close friends. I have worked to try and allow myself to reveal my vulnerable side; however, it is something I still battle. Through my involvement with Fight Club, I have been empowered by everybody's fight stories, and I no longer feel alone.
ELOISE
At only fourteen years old, I was diagnosed with stage 2B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – cancer of the lymphatic system. For four months, I was bound to my bed as heavy-duty medications sucked the life out of me. Despite the enduring struggle to overcome cancer, I am now a happy and healthy University student. Through my experiences, I understand how isolating physical illnesses can be – especially ones that few people can relate to. With that being said, I am proud to join the Fight Club and show people that you never have to be alone. We are all stronger than we think!
